Exoconnect pricing, explained

What each Exoconnect plan costs, what counts as a contact, account or run, how AI credits work, and what happens when you reach a limit.

Updated · 5 min read

Exoconnect has four plans. Each one includes publishing, one inbox for Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, contacts, forms and unlimited automations. The paid plans add room, the AI assistant, and AI usage. There’s no per-message fee and no add-on to unlock a feature you already see.

This page explains what each plan costs, what counts against it, and what happens when you reach a limit. The pricing page always has the current numbers.

Prices are in US dollars, before taxes, billed monthly. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your billing page. Free needs no card.

The limits apply to each workspace. On Team, every workspace you add for a brand or client gets its own 50,000 contacts, 10 accounts and 100,000 runs.

What counts

Contacts. A contact counts while it’s active, which means not archived. Archive the people you no longer need and their places free up. A form response that updates someone you already have doesn’t use another place; a new person does.

Connected accounts. Each Instagram account, Facebook Page and WhatsApp number you connect counts as one, in any mix. An account counts until you disconnect it. Reconnecting an account you already have doesn’t add one.

Automation runs. A run counts only when it sends something: a public reply under a comment or a private message. A run that sends nothing, for example because a comment didn’t match, is free. Runs are counted per calendar month.

Automations. You can create and switch on as many as you like, on every plan, Free included. The plan counts what they send, not how many you have.

Posts and replies. Publishing posts and answering people yourself don’t use any allowance.

AI: Exi, your own key, and credits

Exi is the AI agent that works inside your workspace. It drafts posts, answers people, finds leads and reviews how your accounts are doing.

  • Free doesn’t include Exi.
  • Starter includes Exi with your own AI key. You add a key from your AI provider under Settings, then API keys, and your provider bills you for what Exi uses. Exoconnect adds nothing to those calls.
  • Pro includes $20 of usage credits every month. Credits pay for Exoconnect AI, creator research, media analysis and hosted compute. They reset each billing period and don’t carry over. You can still use your own key on Pro.
  • Team includes $20 of credits for each seat, shared by the whole team.

Creator research and hosted compute always use usage credits, even when you bring your own key.

Recipes that match comments by meaning are included on every paid plan, from Starter; on Free, recipes match by words. Answer comments by meaning explains it.

Outside AI agents are free on every plan. If you work in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code or Gemini CLI, you can connect it to your workspace through MCP on Free too. The agent runs on your own subscription with its maker; Exoconnect doesn’t charge for the connection.

WhatsApp message charges

Exoconnect doesn’t charge per message, on any channel.

WhatsApp is different from Instagram and Facebook: Meta charges businesses for some WhatsApp messages, such as approved templates. Those charges come from Meta under its own rates, separate from your Exoconnect plan. Exoconnect adds nothing on top of them.

What happens at a limit

You never lose data because of a limit. When a workspace reaches one:

  • Contacts: you can’t add a new contact by hand. A contact that would be created automatically, from a new message or a form response, is still stored, but archived. It keeps its history, so restoring it after an upgrade brings everything back. Exoconnect tells you once when the last place fills.
  • Connected accounts: you can’t connect another account until you disconnect one or upgrade.
  • Automation runs: an automation that would send is stopped before it sends. The run is recorded as failed, so you can see what was missed.

Reading, editing, archiving and replying yourself keep working. If you move to a smaller plan, the workspace keeps everything it has; it just can’t add more until it’s back under the limit.

Teams

Personal plans are for one person. To work with others, turn your account into a team from Settings, then Teams & Business.

Team costs $25 a seat a month, and each seat is one member or one pending invitation. Every seat adds $20 of usage credits to a shared pool. Seats add people and credits, not bigger limits: each workspace has Pro’s limits, so a one-seat team costs the same as Pro. In return you get roles for each person, a workspace for each brand or client, and a full history of who did what.

Admins see who spent how much of the shared credits, and on which kinds of tasks, such as Exi’s chats, media analysis or creator research.

How it compares

Here is what the entry paid plan of each tool costs, as listed on their own pricing pages in October 2026, in the currency each page shows. Each tool counts different things, so read the comparison pages for what you get at each price.
